Sports T-Shirts in Pakistan: A Guide to Dri-Fit Printed Sportswear (2026)
Share
If you play cricket in a Karachi summer, run along a Lahore canal in June or spend an evening at a futsal court, you already know the problem with a regular cotton tee. Ten minutes in, it is heavy, stuck to your back and taking forever to dry. A proper sports T-shirt fixes most of that. This guide covers what to look for in sports shirts in Pakistan, where Dri-Fit polyester beats cotton (and where it doesn't), why sublimation printing suits sportswear, and how to get a set printed for your team.
What makes a good sports T-shirt?
A sports tee earns its place on three things.
- Fabric weight. Lighter is better for our climate. A thin, lightweight fabric moves with you and doesn't trap as much heat against your skin.
- How it handles sweat. You will sweat in Pakistan, whatever you wear. The question is whether the shirt stays soaked or dries off quickly.
- Fit. Too tight and it rides up when you bowl or reach for a header. Too loose and it flaps around and catches the wind on a run. Most people do best with a regular fit that sits close without clinging.
Print matters too, but for a different reason. A sports shirt gets washed far more often than a going-out shirt, so a print that cracks or peels after a month is a real annoyance. More on that below.
Dri-Fit polyester vs cotton for sport: an honest comparison
"Dri-Fit" is the name people in Pakistan generally use for lightweight polyester sportswear fabric. Our sports T-shirts are made from exactly that: lightweight polyester Dri-Fit.
Here is the honest trade-off:
- Polyester for activity. Polyester fibres hold much less water than cotton, so a polyester tee tends to dry faster and feel lighter once you start sweating. For a net session, a futsal match, a gym workout or a 5 km run, that is what you want.
- Cotton for lounging. Cotton feels soft and familiar, and plenty of people prefer it for sitting around the house. The catch is that it absorbs sweat and stays wet, which is why a cotton tee feels like a sponge halfway through a match.
- The polyester downside. Some people find polyester holds on to sweat smell more than cotton if it sits in a gym bag. The fix is simple: wash it after every session and don't leave it balled up overnight.
So if the shirt is meant for sport, go polyester. If it is purely for lounging, cotton is fine.
Why sublimation printing suits sportswear
Our sports tees are all-over printed using sublimation. In simple terms, the design is turned into a gas with heat and absorbed into the polyester fibres, rather than sitting on top as a layer of ink. That has a few practical benefits for sports shirts:
- There is no thick, plasticky print patch on your chest or back to trap heat.
- The design can cover the whole shirt, seam to seam, which is how team kits and bold sports graphics are usually made.
- Because the colour is inside the fibre, the print doesn't crack or peel the way a surface print can after lots of washes.
Sublimation only works properly on polyester, which is one reason sportswear and sublimation go together so naturally. If you want the full explanation, read our guide on sublimation vs screen printing.

Custom sports shirt printing for teams and clubs
If you are putting together kits for a cricket side, a futsal league team, an office sports day or a university society, you can design your own sports shirt with us. Because we sublimate, your logo, colours, sponsor names, player names and numbers can all go into the design.
Here is what our bulk orders page says about how it works:
- The minimum is 10 pieces for most apparel projects, and 11 pieces for sports team kits.
- You share the product, quantity, city, deadline, size breakdown and any artwork you have. We send a quote and a digital mockup, and production only starts once the artwork and sizes are approved.
- Standard bulk orders are normally produced in 10 to 14 working days after final artwork approval. Larger or more complex orders get their own schedule.
- Mixed sizes in one order are fine. Just send the breakdown with your order.
For a walkthrough of planning a kit, see our guide to custom football jerseys in Pakistan. The same process applies to cricket and futsal shirts.
Getting the size right
Sizing is the one thing worth slowing down for. Our sports tees run from XS to 3XL. The easiest method is to take a T-shirt you already like the fit of, lay it flat, measure across the chest and down the length, and compare those numbers with our size chart.
If you are between sizes, think about how you will use the shirt. Going up a size gives more room for bowling and stretching; staying with your usual size keeps it neater for the gym. Still unsure? Message us on WhatsApp with your measurements before ordering and we will help you choose.
Please do check this before you order. If we send the wrong size or the wrong item, we will sort it out, but a correctly delivered size that you chose can't be exchanged.
Caring for your sports tees
Sports shirts get washed a lot, so a few habits go a long way:
- Wash after every session rather than letting sweaty shirts sit in a bag.
- Turn the shirt inside out and use cold or lukewarm water.
- Skip bleach and very hot ironing. Polyester doesn't like high heat.
- Dry in the shade rather than leaving it baking on the roof all afternoon.
Always follow the care label on the garment. For more detail, read how to wash printed shirts in Pakistan so the colours never fade.

Frequently asked questions
What fabric are your sports T-shirts made from?

Which sizes are available?
Our sports T-shirts come in XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL and 3XL. Check the size chart against a shirt you already own before ordering.
